Harvest some Yukon Gold potatoes from your garden. (Avoid the onion munching slugs.)
Grate some cheddar.
Brown a pound or so of beef, and make this cream sauce. (I added garlic powder.)
Layer thin slices of potatoes, parmesan cheese, cheddar, and ground beef.
Pour sauce over, add more cheese, bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.
